A 1990 Mercedes 500 SL was taken sometime between April 5 and April 10, a 26-year-old Grandview, Mo., woman recently reported to Lawrence Police. The car had been parked in the 2500 block of West 31st Street. The car was valued at $15,000.

 A 33-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Tuesday morning at SuperTarget, 3201 Iowa. Lawrence Police said the man was suspected of taking two and possibly as many as five Nintendo Game Cube systems. One game cube is worth about $600, a report said. There was no information available Wednesday about possible charges.

 An IBM laptop computer valued at $2,000 was taken sometime Monday night or early Tuesday morning from an apartment in the 2400 block of Alabama Street, Lawrence Police said. A 27-year-old man told police someone entered the apartment while he and his roommates were sleeping and took the laptop, two cell phones and a purse. Total losses were listed at $2,150.
