Olathe ? Senior Andrea Hemphill won the 50 freestyle (24.64 seconds) to lead Lawrence High to a sixth-place finish at the Olathe Invitational on Saturday at California Trail Junior High.

Hemphill also placed second in the 500 freestyle (5:11.26).

Free State’s Ashley Jackson led the Firebird entries with a first-place finish in the 500 free (5:10.66).

Lawrence High’s Melissa Little placed third in the 500 free (5:18.16).

Lawrence’s Sarah Marlow, Sarah Ball, Julia Szabo and Hemphill placed third in the 200 freestyle relay (1:47.36).
