KU baseball victimized by OSU, 10-7

? Jeff Salazar blasted a three-run home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth to propel Oklahoma State to a 10-7 Big 12 baseball victory over Kansas here Friday.

The Jayhawks bolted to a 4-0 lead with two runs in both the first and second innings. Matt Tribble connected for a two-run home run in the first and a two-run double in the second.

But Oklahoma State scored five times in the fourth for a 5-4 lead.

KU came back in the sixth when Ryan Baty belted a three-run home run to put the Jayhawks up, 7-5.

OSU tied it with two runs in the seventh and won it off reliever Chris Jones (2-1) in the ninth.

The Jayhawks saw their record dip to 12-10 overall, 1-6 in the Big 12. The Cowboys improved to 18-7 and 4-3.

The two teams will meet at 2 p.m. today and Sunday.
