They were married March 10, 1942, in Paddockwood, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The couple have three children, Bill Beckman, Overland Park; and Christine Winters and Marilyn Myers, both of Lawrence. They also have seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Robert and Karen Williams, Lawrence, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on April 3.

They were married April 3, 1977, at Danforth Chapel on Kansas University’s campus.
