Joseph Raymond Mock

He was born April 10, 1913, in Imes, the son of George and Mary (Imes) Mock. He graduated from Rantoul High School in 1932. He had lived on his farm north of Ottawa for 50 years, moving there from Rantoul.

Mr. Mock was a lifelong farmer. He had also worked as a finish carpenter for many years during the 1950s and 1960s in Lawrence.

He was a member of Tauy Baptist Church.

He married Alma F. Ball on Sept. 23, 1936, in Missouri. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Kay Falley, Topeka, and Karen Sue Kelsey, Overland Park; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the church or to Midland Hospice, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
