Narveene Brzon

? Services for Narveene Brzon, 74, Belleville, will be at 1 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, Belleville. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery, rural Republic.

Mrs. Brzon died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at her home.

She was born Nov. 28, 1927, in Concordia, the daughter of Darrell H. and May (Thomas) Garman. She graduated from Republic High School and attended Kansas State University.

Mrs. Brzon was a teacher at Lake School and Republic Grade School. She also was a homemaker and farm partner and operator.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Belleville. She was also a member of the Republic County Republican Committee, Republic County Historical Society, Friends of Pawnee, Republic County Health Department advisory board, Home Demonstration Unit, NCK Vo-Tech at Beloit advisory board, Republic County Extension executive board and Republic County Farm Bureau. She also was a 4-H leader.

She married Loren D. Brzon on Aug. 21, 1947. He died earlier.

Survivors include four sons, Brian and Darrell, both of Republic, Mike, Courtland, and Mark, Wichita; two daughters, Valeita Williams, Lawrence, and Melinda La Londe, Lenexa; a sister, Vera Burge, Republic; a brother, Darrell Garman, Lacey, Wash.; and 14 grandchildren.

Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, is in charge of arrangements.
