Dallas — Wyoming coach Steve McClain and Kansas assistant Neil Dougherty appear to be the finalists for the vacant TCU men's basketball head coaching opening.
McClain interviewed with TCU officials on Wednesday, two days after Dougherty had his second interview with TCU.
Reportedly, Dougherty had a great pair of interviews.
He could be named soon but would not take over until after Kansas' season is finished.
Dougherty had no comment about the TCU job on Wednesday, except to admit interest in the position.
