Lawrence High senior guard Stephen Vinson was a second-team all-state boys basketball selection by the Topeka Capital-Journal.

Topeka High’s Crystal Kemp, a Kansas University women’s signee, was an all-state choice.

Free State junior Keith Wooden was a second-team 6A pick and LHS senior D.J. Watkins received honorable mention.

Ottawa senior Adam Spratt was a third-team 4A choice. Area 4A girls players honored were Ottawa’s Lindsey Dieterich, a first-team pick; Santa Fe Trail’s Melissa Ball, a second-team pick; and Baldwin’s Colleen Kivett, a third-team pick.
