Nuggets’ Hardaway suspended two games

? Denver Nuggets guard Tim Hardaway was suspended for two games without pay and fined $10,000 by the NBA on Saturday for his TV tossing tirade in Orlando.

Hardaway was cited for throwing the television monitor onto the court following his ejection Friday night, along with verbal abuse of the officials and failure to leave the court in a timely manner.

Hardaway was ejected with 7:20 left in the third quarter after picking up his second technical foul as the Nuggets lost 124-102.

As he left the court, Hardaway picked up a courtside monitor used by the Magic’s television announcers and threw it.

The monitor bounced around without breaking apart before coming to a stop just outside the center circle. Orlando’s Darrell Armstrong brought the crowd to its feet again when he picked up the monitor, brought it back where it belonged and plugged it in.
