KU softball team splits in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CALIF. ? Kansas University’s softball team defeated Middle Tennessee State, 3-0, then fell to Nebraska, 6-3, Saturday in the Capitol Classic. KU went 3-3 in the tourney.
Christi Musser homered and Melanie Wallach doubled twice for the Jayhawks (14-10) against Middle Tennessee. Kara Pierce pitched a three-hit shutout to raise her record to 6-4.
