Burglaries and thefts reported

A 47-year-old Lawrence man told police Friday someone took $1,800 from his residence in the 100 block of North Michigan sometime last week. Police are investigating two possible suspects.

A 34-year-old Lawrence man reported Friday that someone broke into his home in the 2200 block of Ohio Street and took weapons and some foreign coins. The weapons were two pistols. A side door to the residence was forced open. Total losses and damage were listed at $1,270.
