Free State High senior girls basketball player Lauren Wright, who set a school record for three-pointers in a season with 47, has been named to the all-Sunflower League second team.

Free State senior Stacie Garland received honorable mention. Senior Mandy Amyx, junior Leigh DeBiasse and sophomores Rachael Klingler, Josie Polk and Cherrale Ricks received honorable mention from Lawrence High.

Shawnee Mission North’s Maralene Zwarich was named the league’s player of the year. Shawnee Mission Northwest’s John Reiff was coach of the year.
