Estimated Receipts: 400. Compared to last week, a good offering of slaughter steers and heifers sold 1.00-3.00 higher. The heavier receipts were brought on by last Wednesday’s direct fat market jump, with prices at mostly 73.00 live and 116.00-117.00 dressed. Slaughter cow trading was very active and prices trended fully 2.00-3.00 higher. Demand was also good for slaughter bulls and they sold 1.00-2.00 higher.

Lead – 29-31 cents per lb.
