A 39-year-old city of Lawrence employee told Lawrence Police that someone may have shot at him while he was operating a city-owned vehicle. The man was westbound about 9:25 a.m. Friday in a 1986 CAT G-12 in the south alley of the 200 block of Funston Street when he heard something strike the driver’s side window, Sgt. Paul Fellers said. The man felt small pieces of glass hit the right side of his head and observed a hole in the window about the size of a BB or pellet, Fellers said. Police have no suspects. Fellers did not know whether the city worker received medical treatment.

Burglaries and thefts reported

 A 28-year-old Lawrence man reported that a golf bag, seven golf clubs and 10 other items were taken between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 11:20 a.m. Thursday from his residence in the 1200 block of Jana Drive. The items were valued at $1,645, a Lawrence Police report said.
