What’s happening with plans to expand the Kansas Turnpike to six lanes or more from Topeka to Kansas City?

“We are doing preliminary work right now to determine the cost,” said Lisa Callahan, Kansas Turnpike Authority spokeswoman.

“We’re preparing that information to give alternatives to the board, and we should have that to them in the next year or so.”
