Brown-Sharma

Sarah Brown and Amit Kumar Sharma, both of Lawrence, were married June 19, 2002, in Lincoln, Vt.

The bride is the daughter of Toby and Mary Ann Sachse Brown, Weybridge, Vt. The groom is the son of the late Arun Sharma and Savitri Sharma.

The couple had a traditional Hindu ceremony.

The bride is pursing a degree in dance at Kansas University. The groom is a graduate of KU, where he earned a degree in economics. He is the manager of La Parilla restaurant in Lawrence.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Keel-Reddig

Catherine Lousie Keel, Lawrence, and Robert Thomas Reddig, Kansas City, Mo., were married June 8, 2002, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Chapel, with the Rev. Vincent Krische officiating. Concelebrating the wedding were the Revs. John Schmeidler, Albert Bruecken and Jerry Volz.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Nancy Keel, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Tom and Nancy Reddig, Kansas City, Mo.

The maid of honor was Sara Culley. The bride’s attendants were Liesel Keel and Mitzi Keel. The best man was Matthew Thomas. Groomsmen were Jonathan Williams and Zac Mainz.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a degree in education in May 2000 at Kansas University. She taught at Sumner Academy in Kansas City, Kan., during the 2001-2002 school year. She will begin teaching in the Blue Valley school district this fall.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Bishop Miege High School. He received degrees in chemistry, microbiology and mathematics in May 2001 at KU. He is an outreach minister at St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center. He will begin studying medicine in August at KU Medical Center.

The couple will reside in Kansas City, Kan.
