Police reports

A 21-year-old Lawrence woman reported finding rock dents in her 1999 red Toyota 4-Runner. The damage occurred between 3 p.m. June 7 and 4 p.m. June 11 while the vehicle was parked at her residence in the 1600 block of Tennessee Street. A Lawrence Police report listed the damage at $1,000.

Lawrence Police arrested a 34-year-old Lawrence transient Wednesday evening after he allegedly threatened two men with a knife and then resisted arrest. Police received reports from two men working in a garden near 10th and Ohio streets that they said hello to a man walking by and that he then started cussing, pulled out a knife and said he was going to “get them,” Police Sgt. Dave Hubbel said. Officers caught up with the man at Ninth and Ohio streets, where they had to wrestle him to the ground and use pepper spray to handcuff him, Hubbel said. The transient was booked into Douglas County Jail.

Burglaries and thefts reported

A Compaq laptop computer, Sony external CD burner and several other items were removed between 3 p.m. June 13 and 12:45 p.m. Monday from a residence in the 800 block of Mississippi Street, a Lawrence Police report said. The 37-year-old Lawrence man who reported the items missing estimated their value at $5,540.

A 22-year-old Lawrence man reported that someone took a Playstation2, 67 CDs and 10 other items between 2:50 a.m. and 3:01 a.m. Tuesday from his residence in the 1100 block of Louisiana Street. A Lawrence Police report listed the loss at $1,820.

Condition reports

Dillon Warrington, the 9-year-old Lawrence boy who was injured Tuesday when he fell off his bicycle at Harper Woods mobile home park, 2200 Harper St., was released Wednesday from Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.
