Burglaries and thefts reported

A Sony CD/cassette player, 20 VHS tapes and 19 other items were removed between 8 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Saturday from a residence in the 1100 block of Ohio Street, a Lawrence Police report said. The 18-year-old Lawrence woman who reported the items stolen estimated their value at $6,365.
