The following construction projects may affect commuter traffic this week in the region:

Kansas Highway 10, between Kansas Highway 7 and U.S. Interstate 435, reduced speeds through construction zone during road overlay project.

U.S. Highway 69 in Johnson County, lane restrictions for bridge repair and patching. Traffic strongly advised to find alternate routes, especially during rush hours, as long delays are expected.

U.S. Highway 69, on the Metcalf Bridge that carries north and southbound traffic over Johnson Drive, lane width restrictions for bridge repair/patching.

U.S. Highway 24, east exit from U.S. Highway 75 to U.S. 24, closed for road overlay. Parts of U.S. 75 and U.S. 24 will be reduced to one lane.

U.S. Highway 24, westbound right lane, closed while ramp connecting southbound U.S. Highway 75 to U.S. 24 is being rebuilt.

U.S. Interstate 70, westbound lanes of I-70 to the Fairfax Ramp Bridge, closed for repair and patching. Detour posted.

U.S. Interstate 70, westbound exit ramp on I-70 to Washington Street, closed for bridge expansion and joint repair. Detour posted.

U.S. Interstate 70, outermost two lanes of I-70 will be closed from the Kansas-Missouri border west to the Washington Street exit ramp.

Kansas Highway 32, eastbound lanes of K-32 in Wyandotte County, closed for reconstruction. Traffic rerouted to westbound lanes.

Kansas Highway 32, traffic over the Turner Diagonal bridge in Wyandotte County will be routed to the new bridge while the second bridge is under construction.

The following city construction projects may affect traffic this week:

Crossgate Drive at 27th, closed for reconstruction of the box culvert.

27th and Iowa, intermittent lane closures for intersection improvements.

23rd and Barker, intermittent lane closures for intersection improvements.

East Ninth Street, north side, New Hampshire to Pennsylvania, parking restricted for water-line installation.

High Drive, Emery Road to 1015 Emery Road, traffic interruptions for water-line installation.

West 21st Street, Naismith Drive to Stewart Avenue, lane restricted for water-line modification.

Wimbledon Drive at Inverness, one lane closed for street repair.

101 Lawrence Avenue, northbound restricted to one lane for street repair.

15th Street, closed to through traffic at Wakarusa for street repair.

Wakarusa, at 15th Street, reduced to one lane for street repair.

Learnard Avenue, 19th to 23rd streets, no parking during the project and no through traffic from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. for street repair.

Iowa Street, at bridge between 15th and 19th streets, one lane closed during work hours for bridge painting.

Westdale Road, Centennial Drive to Crestline Drive, lanes limited for milling and overlay.

18th Street, Barker Avenue to New Hampshire Street, lanes limited for milling and overlay.

Indian Avenue, Massachusetts Street to Haskell Indian Nations University property, lanes limited for milling and overlay.

Crestline Drive, east side, Ninth Street to Harvard Road, lanes restricted for curb repair.
