WNBA Roundup: Dales-Schuman scores 20 as Mystics win

? Rookie Stacey Dales-Schuman scored 20 points to lead the Washington Mystics to their fifth consecutive win, a 69-63 victory over the Cleveland Rockers on Friday night.

Dales-Schuman hit a three-pointer to start the game and the 6-foot guard from Oklahoma, the third overall pick in the WNBA draft in April, finished 4-for-5 both from three-point range and the free throw line. The 20 points were her season-high for Washington (6-1).

Phoenix Lauren Jackson had 23 points and Felicia Ragland added 19 points, six assists and three steals to lead Seattle, snapping the Mercury’s four-game winning streak. Phoenix coach Cynthia Cooper left the team before the game to go to Houston, where a surrogate mother was set to give birth to Cooper’s twins.
