Burglaries and thefts reported

A 1989 Toyota Camry was taken from a parking space in the 2100 block of Haskell Avenue, according to a Lawrence Police report. A 52-year-old man who owned it reported the incident occurred sometime Sunday night or Monday morning. The car was valued at $2,500.

A color television and a digital camera were taken in a burglary sometime Sunday at a residence in the 800 block of Arkansas Street. A 51-year-old Lawrence man reported the incident. A wooden door was damaged. Losses and damage were listed at $1,300.

Someone entered a residence Friday night or Saturday morning in the 2400 block of Alabama Street. Taken from the apartment were a Sony Playstation, Playstation games and 25 DVDs valued at $1,050. A 25-year-old man who lived there reported the incident. He and a roommate said they were sleeping during the incident. Police said there were no signs of forced entry to the residence.
