AUGUSTA ? The Lawrence Renegades, an 18-and-under traveling team, went 1-2 in the Quinn Smith Memorial Tournament during the weekend.

After falling, 11-9, to the Wichita Hitmen and beating the Garden City Blues, 11-2, on Saturday, the Renegades (4-3) fell to the Topeka Stars, 9-1, on Sunday. Cal Heinrich had six hits, a home run, a double, five RBIs and three runs to pace Lawrence, and Ryne Jackson had four hits and two RBIs.

The Renegades will head Friday to the three-day Kansas City Wooden Bat Slugfest in Lenexa.
