Pearl A. Hane

? Services for Pearl A. Hane, 96, Topeka, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapels, Leavenworth. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Leavenworth.

Mrs. Hane died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Aldersgate Village, Topeka.

She was born March 13, 1906, in Colby, the daughter of Robert E. and Ida (Bourquin) Wolf.

Mrs. Hane had been a clerical worker at the Leavenworth SRS office for 17 years and had worked at the Leavenworth County Treasurer’s Office for three years.

She was a member of Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church, Topeka, and a past member of Lowman United Methodist Church, Topeka. She had belonged to First United Methodist Church, Leavenworth, for more than 32 years. She also belonged to United Methodist Women.

She married Francis W. “Wes” Hane Sept. 5, 1926, in Goodland. He died June 6, 1987.

Survivors include a son, Carl E. Hane, Norman, Okla.; two daughters, Phyllis H. Legler, Lawrence, and Evelyn A. Gwartney, Prairie Village; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials in her name to the Good Samaritan Fund at Aldersgate Village, sent in care of the funeral chapel, 500 Oak St., Leavenworth 66048.
