Laurence W. Wolfe

Bonner Springs Services for Laurence W. Wolfe, 73, Linwood, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs. Burial will be in Lenape Cemetery, Linwood.

Mr. Wolfe died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at his home.

He was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Tonganoxie, the son of Roy L. and Esther Elizabeth (Lawrence) Wolfe. He lived in Bonner Springs before he moved to Linwood.

Mr. Wolfe worked at Mid Continent Underground Storage until he retired in 1989. He was formerly on the Bonner Springs Volunteer Fire Department.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a former Delaware Dancers square dancer, and a member of the Basehor Lion’s Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles 8676, Leavenworth.

He married Patricia Hoffine. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three daughters, Liz Pino, Edwardsville, and Kathy DeLap and Tammy Pierce, both of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, John, Weiser, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
