Lawrence Police are investigating the disappearance of $361 from Papa John’s Pizza, 2233 La. The money reportedly had been placed in a safe on Saturday night but was not there Sunday morning, a police report said. There was no sign of forced entry to either the restaurant building or the safe, police said.
A 20-year-old Lawrence woman reported that someone removed a gold ring and three other items from her residence in the 3600 block of West 10th Street, a Lawrence Police report said. A door and door frame sustained $250 damage during the incident, which occurred between 11 p.m. Friday and 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The missing items were valued at $1,910.
