Wayne Stucky

? Services for Wayne Stucky, 61, Fredonia, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Fredonia. Burial will be in Fredonia City Cemetery.

Mr. Stucky died Friday, July 26, 2002, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, where he had been taken as a result of injuries he sustained in a car accident Friday near Iola.

He was born April 10, 1941, in Harper, the son of Irvin J. and Lorene (Morton) Stucky. He grew up and attended school in Kansas, graduating from Kingman High School in 1958 and then from Hutchinson Junior College and Pittsburg State Teachers College.

Mr. Stucky taught school in Coldwater for three years before moving to Fredonia, where he taught until retiring in 2000. He was the assistant office manager at Fredonia Housing Authority.

He was a member of Fredonia First United Methodist Church.

He married Donna Sprague on Aug. 2, 1970, in Coffeyville. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Corey, Lenexa, and Kyle, Lawrence; a daughter, Kimberly Stucky, Derby; and a brother, Ronald R., Hot Springs Village, Ark.

Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Potts Chapel, Independence, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday. Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
