Rita Darlene Beachler

MODESTO, CALIF. ? Services for Rita Darlene Beachler, 69, Modesto, Calif., will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Modesto Covenant Church. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, Calif.

Mrs. Beachler died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Memorial Care Center, Modesto.

She was born Nov. 24, 1932, in Lawrence, Kan., the daughter of Huelan and Bea Hegeman. She lived in Lawrence until 1955, when she moved to Modesto.

Mrs. Beachler was a print shop supervisor for Modesto City Schools for 18 years until she retired in 1979. She was a member of Modesto Covenant Church and charter president and board member of California Heart and Tole Chapter of Decorative Arts.

She married Donovan C. Beachler in 1955 in Lawrence. He died Aug. 15, 1992.

Survivors include two daughters, Bambi Lynn Beachler, Modesto, and Ronda Slack, Dublin, Calif.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, Modesto.
