DCABA teams have qualified for nationals

All-Star teams representing Douglas County Amateur Baseball Association produced two state champs as well as a second- and third-place finishers that all qualified for NBC National Tournaments.

Here are capsules on the four DCABA teams headed to nationals:

The U-8 All-Stars will play in the NBC World Series this weekend in Kansas City, Mo. Team members are Levi Baker, Tyler Brenn, Antony Buffalomeat, Driskel Johnson, Zach Losey, K.J. Pritchard, Calloway Schmidt, Cody Stancliffe, Jack Miller, Shane Willoughby and Wyatt Woods. Coaches are Doug Woods, Lance Flachsbarth, Mark Unruh and Mike Willoughby.

The U-10 Cactus stars are headed for Roswell, Ga. Team members are Drew Branstrom, Antonio Garcia, Ben Harms, Garrett Hinton, Tanner Kilmer, Michael McCabe, Matthew Montes de Oca, Chris Parker, Adam Petz, Koty Russell, Harrison Scheib and Ryan Scott. Coaches are John Parker, Craig Branstrom, Dave Scheib and Bruce Scott.

The U-11 Hawks qualified for nationals in Oklahoma City. Team members are Jake Miller, Lance Kilburn, Ryan Winger, Aaron Rea, Mike Schrock, Jay Baker, Isaac Flynn, Scotty Brenn, Jake Green, John Flory, Tyler Hatesohl and Andy Urban. Coaches are John Flynn, Eric Schrock, Dave Urban and Jim Miller.

The U-12 Legends will be going to Indianapolis. Team members are Zachary Durr, Kenny Flanders, Greg Glatz, Alex Hardman, Cameron Hartford, Josh Herschell, Tyler Hunt, Cody Lown, Clint Pinnick, Cameron Schmidt, Zack Toelkes, Brad Witmer and Justin Ziegler. Coaches are Rand Ziegler, Bret Toelkes, Tim Pinnick and Bill Lown.
