The future bride is the daughter of Debbie Bird, Topeka.

She is a graduate of Topeka West High School and Kansas University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

The future groom is the son of Stephen and Sandra Adams, Easton.

He is a graduate of Pleasant Ridge High School and Kansas University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

The couple plan an Aug. 31 wedding at Danforth Chapel on Kansas University’s campus.

Dreiling-Crotts

Roger Dreiling and Jean Dreiling, both of Lawrence, and Diana Chamberlain, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their children, Kayla Dreiling and Jacob Crotts, both of Lawrence.

The future bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Johnson County Community College. She is an optician/technician at the Lawrence Optometric Clinic.

The future groom graduated from Lawrence High School and Johnson County Community College. He is employed with Durflinger Homes Inc.

The couple plan a June 7, 2003, wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence.
