Kansas University sophomore Brooklyn Hann will compete in the 2002 World Junior Track and Field Championships this week in Kingston, Jamaica.

She will be representing Team USA in the triple jump. Hann was the 2002 Big 12 Outdoor triple jump champion, leaping 42 feet, 11 inches a KU record to place first in the event.

Competition for the World Junior Track and Field Championships begins today and concludes Saturday.
