Topeka ? Topeka police are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found Sunday.

The bodies of Karen Harkness, 53, and Michael Sisco, 47, were found in Harkness’ duplex in southwest Topeka. Sisco was a friend of Harkness, police said.

Their bodies were found by Harkness’ parents, who had come to the apartment for a visit and became alarmed when Harkness did not answer the door.
