New Richland, Minn. Services for Carmen Ann McCall, 45, West St. Paul, formerly of Baldwin, Kan., were Jan. 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial was in Vista Lutheran Cemetery.
Mrs. McCall died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at South View Acres, West St. Paul, following complications of brain cancer. She returned to Minnesota from Baldwin two months ago due to failing health.
She was born Nov. 9, 1956, in Waseca, the daughter of Harold A. and Oriet L. (Lee) Johnson. She and her family lived on a farm near New Richland. She graduated from New Richland High School in 1975 and attended college at Gustavus Adolphus, St. Peter. She graduated from Mankato State University in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in biology with minors in chemistry and Scandinavian studies.
She married Timothy McCall on July 18, 1981, in New Richland. He survives in Baldwin.
Other survivors include two brothers, David Johnson, Fort Worth, Tex., and Alvin Johnson, Mendota Heights, Minn.
