Liners make crockpot cleanup easier

Myths have lot of pluck

The National Chicken Council wants to peck away at a few myths when it comes to buying and preparing chicken.

The council says differences in skin color do not affect nutritional value, flavor, tenderness or fat content. Also, darkening around the bones of cooked chicken is from natural pigment and is safe to eat.
