Winchester Services for Flora Ellen "Flo" Dill, 83, Winchester, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Winchester United Methodist Church. Cremation is planned. Private family inurnment will be at Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery, Winchester.

Mrs. Dill died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Olathe Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Winchester, the daughter of Hugh Thomas and Ethel Dora (Goode) O'Neill. A lifelong resident of Winchester, she was a 1939 graduate of Winchester High School.

Mrs. Dill was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the farm for many years.

She was a member of Winchester United Methodist Church; United Methodist Women; Happy Hour Club; Winchester Senior Citizens Club; and a 50-year member of County Line Extension Unit.

Mrs. Dill was a volunteer for Jefferson County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and had worked on the election board in Winchester for many years.

She married John Mark Dill on Aug. 24, 1943, in Winchester. He died Jan. 16, 1984.

Survivors include a son, Hugh Dill, Junction City; five daughters, Mary Alice Folk, Oklahoma City, Mildred White, Seattle, Barbara Bartlett, Baldwin, Martha Acri, Fort Scott, and Pamela Jackson, Spring Hill; a sister, Mary Ann McElroy, Goddard; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the church fellowship hall.

The family suggests memorials to Winchester United Methodist Church, sent in care of Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa 66066.
