— Phil Jackson will not be coaching the Western Conference team at the All-Star game. The Philadelphia 76ers made sure of it.

Playing a Lakers team that was starting a five-game road trip, the 76ers got 29 points from Allen Iverson and a strong all-around game from Derrick Coleman to defeat Los Angeles 93-87 on Sunday.

The loss left the Lakers at 29-12, meaning Dallas Mavericks coach Don Nelson will guide the West when the All-Star game is held at the First Union Center in two weeks. The Mavericks are 32-12.

Coleman had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Dikembe Mutombo added 13 points and 18 rebounds for Philadelphia, which outscored Los Angeles 30-20 in the fourth quarter after trailing for much of the first three quarters.

Iverson scored 14 points in the fourth but failed to reach 30 for the first time in eight games. Matt Harpring added 14 points, and Eric Snow had 10 points and 10 assists.

Shaquille O'Neal had 26, and Kobe Bryant scored 25 for the Lakers.

Toronto 106, Orlando 97

Toronto Vince Carter outscored cousin Tracy McGrady 32-27 as the Toronto Raptors ended Orlando's three-game winning streak with a victory over the Magic on Sunday.

McGrady, playing his second game in Toronto since leaving as a free agent two years ago, was booed every time he touched the ball.

Carter, guarded by McGrady, made his first six shots on a variety of jumpers and layups, finishing with 15 points in the first quarter as Toronto led 34-16.

McGrady, guarded by Jerome Williams, had three turnovers and just two points in the first quarter.

Keon Clark added 20 points, and Antonio Davis had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Raptors.

Darrell Armstrong had 20 points, and McGrady added 10 rebounds for the Magic.

Carter went 13-for-23 from the field.
