Services for Hazel Rose Hatfield, 84, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hatfield died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at Brandon Woods Retirement Center.
She was born Jan. 12, 1918, in Williamstown, the daughter of Albert and Bessie (Button) Rose. She was a 1963 Perry High School graduate and was her team's basketball captain.
Mrs. Hatfield was a homemaker and photographed real estate for appraisal. She was a member of Jaycee Janes, Elk's Ladies, and Beta Mu, of which she was past president.
She married Wilfred Woodrow Hatfield on Nov. 28, 1937, in Leavenworth. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Larry Hatfield, Lawrence, Gary Hatfield, Sacramento, Calif., and Terry Hatfield, Tonganoxie; a brother, Robert Rose, Lawrence; a sister, Betty Johnson, Tecumseh; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A son, David Hatfield, died Nov. 15, 1980.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
