Training partners and competitors, Kahheetah Barnoskie, 14, and her father Randy Barnoskie, Lawrence, cool off after the Lone Star Triathlon held Sept. 23 in Lawrence. Kahheetah was the youngest triathlete to finish the short course. She beat her father by 10 seconds with a time of 1:17:33. She finished seventh overall in the women's division.
