Harriett Olson and Artie Shaw placed third in the B session. Julie Ward and Ann Thompson won the C session.

The North-South winners were led by Jerry Sloan and Bill Schutzel, followed by Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough. Russell LaForce and Quansheng Qian placed third, followed by James Gunn and Harry Shaffer. Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton placed fifth. Barbara Hamilton and Bill Hamilton won the C session, followed by Martie Hartman and Pat Burgstahler.
The East-West winners were led by Mona Bell and Julia Brooks, followed by Mary Fenlon and Donna Munson. David Rhea and Christie Thomas tied for third place with Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee. Paul Heitzman and Virginia Seaver placed fifth. Gladys Turner and Max Turner placed second in the B session, followed by Eldon Herd and Glenna Herd. Cathy Blumenfeld and Mike Blumenfeld won the C session.
University Bridge Club announces winners of its Jan. 19 game. Hosts were Dale and Wanda Kring, and John and Jane Golden.
The Blue team winners are Dale Kring, first place; Rod Davis, second place; Ed Stellmacher, third place; Don Whitaker, fourth place; and Florence McNicoll, fifth place.
The Pink team winners are Hazel Stellmacher, first; Wanda Kring and Mildred Hoffman, tied for second; Lois Liebert, fourth place; and Roberta Lesh, fifth.
