— Nine Bulldogs scored, led by Joe Gipp's 18 points, as Baldwin defeated Wellsville, 68-45, Friday night in high school boys basketball.

"That's nice to get a lot of guys to score," BHS coach Jeff Haas said. "We rebounded a lot better in the second half than we did in the first half. We made a concerted effort to get inside touches. I thought we were patient on both ends of the floor, offense and defense."

Baldwin held Wellsville to nine points in both the first and third quarters.

Eric Brown scored 12 points and Hugh Murphy added nine.

The Bulldogs will travel to Prairie View next Friday.
