To be honored with this award, a student must be a member of the junior class and the high school's single most promising science and math student. Each medalist who is accepted and subsequently enrolls at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., receives a $40,000 scholarship, payable in four yearly awards of $10,000.
A group of Baker University students and Baker University professor Lee Green are spending the spring semester living, studying and learning in the British East Midlands.
The group is participating in the university's study-abroad program at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England. The area students who are participating are: Jody Beard, Jacob Hamilton, Candace Jones and Erick Vaughn, Baldwin; and Natalie Jewell, Basehor.

Angus Herd Improvement Records is a comprehensive evaluation program used by registered Angus breeders to help them keep records of reproduction and growth rate on individual animals.
