She was born Nov. 18, 1910, in Rulo, Neb., the daughter of Fred C. and Mattie Sue (Kirk) Brown. She moved to Linwood in 1946.
Mrs. Baird was a member of United Methodist Church, Linwood.
She married James A. Baird on June 1, 1926, in Hiawatha. He died Oct. 19, 1975.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
