Truckers using the west bypass around Lawrence drive through Lawrence to Kansas Highway 10 en route to Kansas City. Recently my daughter and grandson were sideswiped by a trucker in the city of Lawrence on 23rd Street. The trucker would have been on a bypass around the south part of Lawrence if one would have been available. Please encourage the completion of the bypass for the safety sake of the people who live and travel on 23rd Street in Lawrence.
