She was born Oct. 16, 1913, in Iberia, the daughter of Locky Edward and Mamie Lee (Wells) Pemberton. She graduated from Brumley High School.
She married Charles A. Pessoni on Feb. 26, 1938. He died Dec. 3, 1998.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Yeutter, Pinetop, Ariz., Suzanne Rush, Farley, and Charlotte Pessoni, Lawrence, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Bruce Pessoni, died in 1964.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
