York, Neb. — Haskell Indian Nations University's women's basketball team fell to York College, 79-71, on Monday night.
Haskell lagged 36-34 at halftime after falling behind by 14 points early. Haskell led 39-36 with 19 minutes left.
Senior Charlotte Salabiye scored 21 points for Haskell (5-14 overall, 0-5 league). Haskell will play Kansas Newman at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Coffin Complex.
