KANSAS CITY, KAN. — Services for Selma L. Henak, 84, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Porter Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Henak died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born April 19, 1917, in Linwood, and had been a resident of Kansas City, Kan., most of her life.
She married Frank G. Henak Sept. 11, 1939.
Mrs. Henak was a homemaker.
Mrs. Henak was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and the Proctor and Gamble Retirees Club.
Survivors include her husband, Kansas City, Kan.; two sons, Larry M. Henak and Earl D. Henak, both of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Joyce Annette Ranes, Overland Park; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials in her name to Grandview Baptist Church, sent in care of the funeral home, 1835 Minn. Ave., Kansas City, Kan. 66102.
