Burglaries and thefts reported

A 36-year-old Lawrence woman reported two DVD players valued at $600, a 27-inch color television valued at $300 and other items valued at $4,500 taken from her home in the 200 block of Pinecone Drive. The items were taken between 8 p.m. and midnight Saturday.

A 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier valued at $1,500 was taken from the 500 block of Gateway Court between 5:30 a.m. Jan. 7 and noon Jan. 16. The victim is a 22-year-old Lawrence man.
