She was born Aug. 21, 1924, the daughter of Clovis and Agnes (Bulgier) Brummett. She graduated from high school in Alba, Tex. During World War II she worked as a riveter for Consolidated Aircraft in Fort Worth, Tex. She went to nursing school and cosmetology school and graduated in 1957. She opened Frankie's Beauty Salon in Texas that year and retired in 1980.

Mrs. Inverarity was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Adah Chapter No. 7, Centenary United Methodist Church, and Eagles Lodge, Mt. Oread No. 309.

She married John D. Inverarity Nov. 21, 1943. He died Aug. 11, 1984.

Survivors include a son, John D. Inverarity Jr., Lawrence; a daughter, Vena F. Zook, Parker, Colo.; a brother, Dale Brummett, Shreveport, La.; a sister, Helen Baker, Wichita Falls, Tex.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
