— After losing two fights to Donald Brashear, Tie Domi praised Brashear for not gloating.

Brashear also scored as Philadelphia beat Toronto 3-0 on Saturday night for the Flyers' season-high eighth straight victory.

"I'm happy for the guy," said Domi, who was sporting a black eye and a cut. "He's turned his career around a little bit, and he's showing a little bit more respect after altercations. I'm happy for him. He's turned that team around."

Roman Cechmanek made 31 saves for his second shutout of the season for the Flyers, who have won 14 of their last 16 games.

Philadelphia passed Toronto for the Eastern Conference lead last week.

Justin Williams also scored and Todd Fedoruk added an empty-netter for the Flyers, whose 16 road wins are the most in the NHL.

Brashear angered the Maple Leafs with his antics Oct. 19 when he made a hand-washing motion toward the Toronto bench after beating Wade Belak in a fight.

Domi appreciated that Brashear didn't give a repeat performance Saturday.

"I think he finally realized he didn't have much respect," Domi said. "He cut all that stuff out. I know first hand. I was doing all that stuff when I was 20 years old and I had Mark Messier pull me aside and it really made a difference in my career.

"That's how you get respect," Domi added. "You show respect to your peers, and they give it back. It's a good sign he didn't do any of that stuff tonight, and he could have done all that stuff he used to do. He got my respect. He scored a goal too."

Blues 2, Bruins 1, OT

St. Louis Keith Tkachuk had both St. Louis goals, including one on a power play 3:29 into overtime, as the Blues extended a season-high eight-game winning streak. It was his third game-winning goal in the last three games. The Blues are 10-1-0 in their last 11 games and unbeaten in their last seven home games. St. Louis goalie Brent Johnson stopped 28 shots and has been in goal for the eight-game winning streak.

Los Angeles Adrian Aucoin and Mariusz Czerkawski scored 55 seconds apart early in the second period to lead New York past Los Angeles. Flames 2,

Mighty Ducks 1

Calgary, Alberta Chris Clark scored the go-ahead goal 1:35 into the third period and Calgary ended a four-game losing streak. Penguins 1, Oilers 0

Pittsburgh won for the second straight game and ended its Western Canadian road swing 2-1-0-0 after a win in Calgary and a loss in Vancouver. The game marked Mario Lemieux's first visit to Skyreach Centre in over five years. He was held in check by the Oilers and went scoreless to end a two-game goal streak.
