Private memorial services for Nancy J. Taylor, 59, Lawrence, will be at a later date.
Ms. Taylor died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Lawrence, the daughter of Brice Allen Sr. and Frances (Holloway) Allen.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jane Barnes, Lawrence; her mother, Frances Nitsch, Baldwin; two brothers, Roy Allen, Hutchinson, and Sonny Allen, Baldwin; a sister, Kandie Koehler, Baldwin; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at 824 Madeline Lane, Lawrence.
The family suggests memorials to Nancy J. Taylor Memorial Fund, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
