Tonganoxie — Kelly Herkin scored 23 points to lead Pleasant Ridge to a 59-56 victory over Oskaloosa on Thursday in the losers' bracket of the Tonganoxie Invitational boys basketball tournament.
The top-seeded Bears (7-3) were led by Matt Browning's 18 points. Blake Reed (12 points) and Travis Newell (10) also scored in double-figures for Oskaloosa.
Oskaloosa will play Olathe Christian at 2 p.m. Saturday for seventh place.
The tournament semifinals are tonight. KC (Mo.) Van Horn will meet Bonner Springs at 6 p.m. Eudora will play host Tonganoxie at 7:30 p.m.
